As long as I can remember, I have been creating. Work that has always revolved around preservation, old crafts, the pure, the raw, and the earthy.
As a child, I worked with flower presses, collected stones and other finds from nature.
Treasures that continuously found new places within my young world.
As with many, at a certain point the obligations of life took over, and I began living according to expectations from the outside. After years of moving along that path, life came to an abrupt standstill. What once felt self-evident fell away. I tried to return to how things were, to the familiar rhythm. Only when I dared to surrender did a gentle, almost magical transformation arise from within. Light, free, and above all, sustainable. I realized that returning was no longer an option.
Through long, daily wanderings in the forest, the hunger to create returned naturally. It expressed itself in many forms and could not be confined to a single discipline. For me, these different forms of creation exist in symbiosis: from interior to art, from material to the art of tea.
This life journey is a continuous act of creation, in which form is merely a vessel for expression.
"In the stillness of the forest, I find the freedom to create, the clarity to understand, and the serenity to simply be."
